| Though some people (not many) would rather us deal in the euro the currency of our land is the pound. Internationally people deal in many currencies withe the pound, the euro and the dollar being very significant. The way our world is set up it is almost impossible to do anything without sealing in the right currency and if necessary exchanging one type of money for another despite the fact that it all fulfils the same basic function. When it comes to the kingdom of God the dollar, the euro or the pound has no bearing at all on eternal transactions. They are part of the decaying and passing inferior kingdom that we see around us. The currency of the Kingdom of God is FAITH! It is faith that moves mountains, brings healing, brings salvation and much, much more. However, faith is not the same as 'the power of positive thinking' nor is it wishing something hard enough and then it will happen. Faith is taking God at His word and staking our lives on Him being true to it. We trust the living word of God, Jesus Christ for forgiveness and salvation and believe that we are forgiven and accepted because He says so. We believe in God's willingness and power to heal and so pray for the sick believing. We believe God keeps His promises and so live with assurance that He will never leave us or forsake us and that we will spend eternity with Him. I could go on.
